Elyse is an Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) Practitioner, with more than 15 years clinical experience. Combining acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, massage, electro-acupuncture, herbal medicine & lifestyle advice, to give her clients the best possible results.
About Elyse
An often asked question... “How did you get into Chinese Medicine...”
Like so many in this industry, I experienced my own personal health struggles, and became drawn to alternative therapies, as a way to improve my own health from a young age.
After high school and some travelling, I completed my 4 year Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology in Sydney in 2009.
Soon after graduation I took a locum position in a complementary health clinic on the NSW Central Coast, and within 12 months took over the practise.
I had the pleasure of growing this beautiful beachside clinic from 2009 to 2014,
up until the birth of my son, Jack.
In 2015 I made the move to Bright, Victoria, where I continue to consult and treat patients - both human and furry (yes I treat animals too, after completing a canine and equine acupuncture course in 2020).
I adore my job, so much so that i’d never actually call it a ‘job’. I am passionate about holistic health, and doing everything in my power to help every single person that walks in the door ...

What can TCM treat?
- As its own system of medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can treat a wide array of health conditions, including:
- Stress, anxiety & depression
- Musculo-skeletal pain & tension
- Inflammation (including arthritis, bursitis & tendonitis)
- Tension headaches, TMJ disfunction & migraines
- Insomnia / sleep disturbances
- Hormonal imbalances (sub-fertility, PMS, peri-menopause & menopause)
- Allergies, sinus & skin conditions
- Pre and post natal care; and
- Supporting patients undergoing cancer treatments.
Whilst extremely effective and safe for the above conditions, you also don’t need to be ‘sick’ to benefit from Acupuncture & TCM. Preventative treatments and an overall optimisation of health is often a goal of patients.

How long does it take?Usually 60 minutes on your first visit. 45 minutes for follow up sessions.
